Rajganj, March 22: CCTV cameras are being installed at traffic points before the Lok Sabha elections. It is reported that the process of installation of CCTV cameras has started on the initiative of Jalpaiguri District Police to carry out extra surveillance in the area before the Lok Sabha elections. Siliguri Jalpaiguri National Highway Hatimore CCTV cameras were installed on Friday. In addition, CCTV cameras were installed at Belakoba Battala junction in Rajganj. According to police sources, polling is taking place in Lok Sabha constituency in Jalpaiguri on 19th July. On the occasion of that election, the work of installing CCTV cameras has started to keep extra vigilance. 24 hours surveillance will be done on the national highway with this CCTV camera.
